When people think of the South, they think of football, hospitality, southern accents and warm weather. Well that’s pretty much true, except for the few months out of the year where it gets so cold your hair begins to feel like ice. Ok, so not in Florida where it’s oh 85 degrees, but apparently Louisiana gets cold too.
Now, I’m not used to cold weather, so when it hits, like most louisianians I freak out. Especially when there is likely to be freezing rain.
Don’t get me wrong I love winter- cute boots, fun hats and warm pea coats. What I do have a problem with though is this- forgetting gloves and having my hands and face turn BRIGHT red also my hair feels like it might break off.
Ok, enough ranting. The main point is, stop being such sissies, curl up with your snuggie( it’s ok we all have one, at least it’s not a snazzy napper) and think about sipping tropical drinks (non-alcoholic, more sugar, less calories) on a beach.
It’s going to a brightly colored spring-it’s. OK.
