Being a victim of a natural disaster, I understand the absolute devastation felt by residents of Japan. So, please take a few minutes out of your very busy schedule and help those who need it most.
Here are 5 very simple ways to help Japan:
1. Start a clothing drive: clean clothing and necessary objects are a relief and something that those struck by disaster need most. Get a bunch of friends together and organize one.
2. You already text non-stop, so why not put that super-human texting to good use. Text REDCROSS to 90999 to donate $10 for relief.
3. To all of Gaga’s little monsters: go to ladygaga.com/store and buy the Japan Earthquake Relief wristband for only $5. You’ll look stylish and help the world.
4. Have a Relief Party. College kids love to party, so why not do it for a good cause? Charge 10 bucks for admission and have all the proceeds go to relief fund.
5.Music junkie? Go to the iTunes and donate with just a click. You can give anywhere between 5 and 200 dollars.
We all need to be philanthropic every now and then. Why not now when people need help the most?
